Durasteel is a complex
alloy formed from binding synthetic neutronium, lommite, and
zesium molecules with meleenium in a process known as matrix
acceleration. The resulting material possesses incredible
mechanical strength and resiliency, thousands of times more than
most traditional materials. The matrix-acceleration process is
superficially similar to that which is used to create the
substance known as Dura-Armor. However, the alloying proportions
and mechanical characteristics of durasteel and Dura-Armor are
quite different (among other things, Dura-Armor omits meleenium
entirely), and this is reflected in their applications. |
