Background:
Sarah was born on Earth and raised along with her twin sister Sonya and their half-brother Charles. Charles' half-brother and sister, twins named Scout and Tara, and Scout and Tara's younger sister Sally also lived with them. The children were raised by all four of their parents - Rik Felstrom, Sonnet Felstrom, Derek Walker, and Amber Walker (who is Charles' mother). Their family life was odd, to say the least. Sarah's father, Rik Felstrom of Betazed, and his wife Sonnet were very well-known in the entertainment industry. Rik is a very powerful psionist, a gift which he passed on to Sarah and Sarah's half-brother Charles. Sarah, Sonya, Scout, and Charles all attended Starfleet Academy together; Sonya is still enrolled in Starfleet Medical, while Scout has graduated and been assigned to a ship as an engineer. Sarah graduated in the top percentile of her class at the academy and was a member of the Nebula Squad. Although counseling was her major, she proved herself to be quite versatile and was assigned to the USS FELIX as navigator for her first assignment.
Following Ensign Felstrom's participation in the brief war between the United Federation of Planets and the Galactic Empire, she was promoted to another vessel within Starfleet.
Character Notes:
Cheerful and outgoing, Sarah is the type of person to whom it's easy to open up; one of the reasons why she studied to be a counselor in the first place.
