Neutronium Armor

Neutronium is a super dense substance that is composed entirely of neutrons, and is held together not by the weak bonds of atoms to one another but by the Strong nuclear force. While not indistructable, it is extremely resilient to most weapons. However, it is by nature an excelent conductor of heat, and suffers appropriately. It is also mind bogglingly massive, with even the thinest sheets of pure Neutronium armor massing as much as the ship they are ment to protect. It is for this reason that no ship in the Alpha or Beta quadrents use Neutronium as armor, although it is present in trace amounts aboard Imperial vessels.
