Mid Rim

The Mid Rim is an expanse of open, sparsely-populated space between the Inner Rim and Outer Rim. The Inner Rim, Mid Rim and Outer Rim make up what is collectively known as the Rim Territories. The Lemorian and Derisian peoples are both native to the Mid Rim.
The Expansion Region
When the Empire established the the modern Expansion Region in the heart of the Inner Rim Territories and Imperial interests began taking vast amounts of resources from the Inner Rim worlds, many of its inhabitants left for the Outer Rim. When this happened, the Expansion Region became a part of the Mid Rim.
