Background

L'Noth was a boy when Praxis exploded and the Khitomer accords were signed, events which profoundly changed his worldview. He took to studying abroad and returned with a greater sense of self and deeper appreciation for his own culture. His travels have assisted him innumerable times in his life. He served with Distinction in the military, attaining Admiralty status before retiring to lead his house when his Father joined the honored in Sto-vo-Kor.

His family is one of the eldest Noble houses and is one of the strongest, though they are not the largest. During the Second Dynasty, his house, like many Noble houses, was nearly destroyed in the coup. While many members lost their lives in the initial strike and during the turmoil that followed, the core of the house was maintained. His house is one of the very few who can trace an unbroken lineage to Kahless the Unforgettable. The founder was a common born white tiger who proved himself worthy and won the hand of Kahless' granddaughter, making it one of the last First Dynasty noble houses created. The house has always been seen as being less traditional than other great houses, and the family eccentric. His house has proven to be capable at being one of the backbones of the Empire, dealing with trading and shipping as well as having a strong tendency towards technical matters, though they have provided many warriors.

L'Noth is on the Council for the Bloodwine. He dislikes Politics and only just tolerates politicians, frequently saying he'd rather be at the negotiation table with a bunch of Ferengi. He is on the council because his old friend Br'Aetok convinced him to take the place when the Chancellor, a former junior officer of his, approached him 5 years ago. A number of Council members had retired or died and the house of Mr'rdoR was making movements to secure the open seats and possibly usurp control. L'Noth has a certain distaste for that House, as it tried (and failed) to financially ruin one of the cadet branches of his own House. L'Noth does not completely agree with the High Chancellor, but he knows him to be a man of Honor with the best interests of the Empire at heart. For these reasons he assumed a place on the council, but is there far more sporadically than other chancellors. L'Noth has proven to be capable in advising on matters of trade and has respectable ideas on how to conduct military matters, added to this is his House's traditional "Eccentricity" and status as Nobility. Therefore the other chancellors put up with his seemingly Cavalier attitude. His placid exterior disguises a wise, still-formidable warrior, a crafty and brutal strategist. L'Noth is a Klingon Tiger and is short for a Klingon male, an aspect he uses to his advantage and a running joke among his friends and colleagues.
