Background:

Germani Otaku was born the only child to Therapos and Moistus Otaku, a pair of middle-upper class citizens of the planet Corellia. His father was the owner of a small group of agricultural producers, which brought in the majority of the family income. Both his parents disliked city settings, and for that reason Germani spent most of his early childhood in a small rural town known as Viana. Their relatives, most notably the Otaku on Moistus' side of the family, sometimes visited them, and occasionally they would take a vacation to the--as far as Moistus and Therapos were concerned--fast paced city setting of Coronet.

When Germani was only a year old, his family came into some financial trouble. In order to make sure that their son was properly raised, Germani's parents chose to send him to close friends who lived on Cloud City on Bespin. Germani grew up under the care of Rea and Odil Walker and had many adventures with other children his age. Because of the aerial nature of Bespin and Cloud City, Germani quickly learned how to become an avid pilot, and was able to join--and eventually rise to leadership of--a group of adolescent troublemakers They often flew about the floating metropolis pulling pranks and avoiding the local police. One of the closer friends he had in the gang was a girl he only knew as Erin. The youngster was often found at the wrong end of the other kid's jokes, but she was by far the most daring and outgoing of the group. Erin didn't live at Cloud City, rather she and her mother often visited Bespin, because Erin's mother was an intergalactic diplomat of some sort.

The majority of the two troublemakers' friends rejected Erin when the young woman began to actually look like one, but Germani remained loyal. When she left Bespin for the last time with her mother, Germani was able to talk his way on board their ship thanks to his loyalty to the young girl. The two took him to the Amazon Imperium, their native system where Erin was actually known as Aris, and it proved to be a profitable place for a young free agent like Walker. The culture was rich in exotic stones and money and diversity. Germani earned himself a reputation almost analogous to a masked hero for the missions he took up and the bravery he showed in the benefit of the Amazon people. One of his reckless ventures even earned him a Purple Heart from the Empress of the Imperium herself, Violet Vortex. Over the years, Germani has managed to fit nicely into the Amazon scene; where there was no lack of adventure, money, or attractive women.

Character Notes:

Behind Germani's charming smile and confident demeanor, there is a shadow of doubt and fear that looms above his head. The truth about his family has always been a nagging question in the back of his mind since the day Rea and Odil told him they were not his biological parents.
