Force-sensitives

From TFC Galactopedia

"Force-sensitive" is an ancient term from the Far Galaxy that refers to a sentient being who is capable of feeling a connection to the Force.

Force-sensitivity has a number of ranges, and not everyone who is a Force-sensitive necessarily has the potential to become a Jedi or a member of the Reformed Sith Order. Someone with a mild connection to the Force might have abnormally fast reflexes or a knack with certain objects or beings that others around them do not share.

All Force-sensitives have a higher concentration of midichlorians in their bloodstream than beings who are not Force-sensitive.

Force-sensitivity appears to be exclusive to those who were born or carried within the Far Galaxy. The only known Force-sensitive from the Milky Way Galaxy is Marc Xavier, a Betazoid-Terran hybrid from the Alpha Quadrant who appears to have developed his Force-sensitivity through an extremely rare birth defect combined with the opening of the Great Rift.
