Background: Dr. Pierce has been serving as a Starfleet medical officer since his graduation from the academy. He grew up in the midwest.

Following the United Federation of Planets' brief altercation with the Galactic Empire, Dr. Pierce was offered a position with a planetside Starfleet hospital. Dr. Pierce declined the offer, as he felt that life aboard the FELIX would offer far more unusual and interesting challenges.

Character Notes: Dr. Pierce's fairly strange sense of humor has caused many of the crewfurs he works with to view him as at least moderately insane.
