Darth Necare

From TFC Galactopedia

Background:

Darth Necare was born Aia Vell to a slave mother on Nar Shadda for the sole purpose of securing her mother’s freedom. Hours after Aia was born she was given to her first owner; her mother walked away a free woman and never looked back. Her earliest years were spent fighting the other children in the slave crèche for food. When she was older she began to learn to dance with the other Twi’lek children. There were a number of orphans in the crèche, but she was the only one who had been given up to secure her own parent’s freedom. This was never hidden from the young girl, and in fact it was brought up repeatedly and cruelly. Aia struck out against her tormenters and soon found herself sold to a new master, one who was even less kind than the last. This began a pattern that continued until she was in her mid teens. Aia was found to be too much trouble and sold and re-sold to less and less savory masters. The core of anger that started with her mother’s initial betrayal fed upon itself in her heart and grew with each new indignity. As she grew, she found that her rage could be her strength, that it could turn and *twist*. Her anger whispered to her in her dreams, seductively. The Sith detected her potential as a youngling and watched and waited. When she was sixteen, the anger within her exploded.

The seedy casino she’d been forced to work in burnt to the ground, with only a handful of survivors to tell the tale of what went on inside the place. What transpired was so unspeakably evil, that two survivors escaped the holocaust only to become gibbering idiots in a mental institution; the others refused to tell the tale. Witnesses outside the casino saw a lone Twi’lek girl walk calmly from the blaze a torch in one hand, her “master’s” severed head in the other. This was what the Sith had been waiting for. She had proven herself worthy of training. She was taken into the Order.

Within the Order, Aia found her life much changed. It was still filled with hardship and indignity which ignighted her rage, but now she learned to truly harness that power. The fury that had spoken to her so subtly before now howled in her mind, driving her forward to excel. And excel she did. Aia devoted herself to combat rather than the more subtle machinations and mind games that preoccupied so many of the order. Years of loathing had forged her into an excellent weapon for the Sith, but there was concern she would prove too difficult to control. She was tempered with propaganda and indoctrination. At the end of her training, she was one of the most adept warriors within the Order, and utterly loyal. After years of success, further training and mastery over the dark side and various forms of weaponry both moderns and arcane, Aia became WeaponMaster for the Reform order, and was given the Sith name “Necare”.

Physical Description:

Darth Necare is covered in black Sith tattoos.

Character Notes:

She is a master of Lightsaber combat, rating proficient in all forms and is Master of Forms VII, VI, and II. She embraced the martial arts fully and mastered Echani as well as more obsolete weaponry such as daggers and the venerable bladed swords the Sith have used throughout their history.

The phrase that defines her a bit quite well "Where Sher is an Artist with the blade, she is a Michaelangelo" She would be one of the few truly worthy opponents.

She is in the process of developing her own form, a darkside twist on Juyo, the antithesis of Vaapad - Ii'n Chani . Where Vaapad seeks to channel and reflect, Ii'n Chani draws and projects. A master draws heavily on the darkside in himself and in the opponent. Against a Jedi or Other lightside user, this confuses and slows them as the Darkside threatens. Against another darksider, a master will drink deeply of their opponent's hatred and fury, using their opponent to fuel their own attacks. The Master will project fear, anger, rage, hatred - all the aspects of the Darkside to encumber and demoralize their enemy. Following the core of Juyo and much like Vaapad, it calls on the practitioner to thrilll in the fight itself- The thrill of battle and the thrill of Victory. Ii'n Chani means "Exult In Pain". It is strangely joyful.

The Crimson Guard call her “Captain” and she culls their ranks without mercy.

She is a terror with Lightsabers but prefers the feel of the cut and will use actual blades whenever she can.

As weapons master she has great responsibility, which she takes very seriously. She trains the Sith in the killing arts. Every lash of a blade across the galaxy she sees as her own, for she was the one who taught the hand that wields the blade. Her students are an extension of her own anger, but she pulls no punches and makes them earn their place. Her natural grace, dancer’s training, and exceptional weapons skills as well as her intense rage make surviving sparring matches with her a great feat. It is an effective way to weed out those that are unfit; those that survive are obviously worthy to go on. She is not someone you wish to cross - she will carve you to ribbons and to your horror, you will not die, no matter how much you beg.

Her favorite form to toy with people with skills she deems woefully inadequate, is form IV.

She is unquestioninly Loyal...To the Sith. She will follow the current leader until she senses or sees weakness. She is not above testing whomever is in charge either even if they do not seem weak.
