Background:

Brett was born on Mars Colony, the daughter of a pair of construction workers at the Utopia Planitia orbital facilities. As a child she was extremely hyperactive, which gave her parents no end of trouble, so much so that they enrolled her in a gymnastics class when she was only five. Much to her parents' surprise, Brett turned out to be extremely good at gymnastics and was sponsored several times by the Galilei City council to compete in various interstellar tournaments across the quadrant. She was ranked among the top gymnasts in the Federation.

Growing up Brett often found herself in the middle of the popular crowd at her school, surrounded by lots of friends and attending parties and social events whenever her study time permitted. Her motivation for joining Starfleet was not out of a desire to explore or help defend the Federation, but rather because most of her classmates were applying as well. When relating with her peers, Brett has little problem, but her ability to deal with authority leaves much to be desired. She becomes nervous, loses her self-confidence, and behaves extremely cautious around those of higher rank or position.

Character Notes:

Hyperactive person, very talkative, very smart but appears sort of "ditzy" at times. Becomes very nervous around commanding officers such as chief engineers and captains. She is eager please commanding officers and an all around a happy go lucky person.
