Betazoids

Betazoids are an Anthroid races that hail from the planet Betazed. Betazoids are externally indistinguishable from Terrans except for their eyes; the iris of a Betazoid's eye is black. Betazoids are a naturally telepathic race. Betazoid telepathic power is generally weak to medium in strength, through strong telepaths do exist. Betazoids can interbreed with a number of other species found in the Federation. Hybrid children resulting from these unions generally lack telepathic power except with other telepaths or very closely bonded individuals. More usual is Empathic ability developing as the primary talent.
Fur Species in TFC
Fur species who are Betazoid share the race's appearance traits, such as the black iris and telepathic abilities. Current species which have been noted as Klingon anthros in the TFC Universe and Extended Universe are:
- Canines (most Common) Particularily Poodle (standard bred), Pomeranian, Shi Tzu, Dalmation, Chihuaua.
- Felines
- Foxes
- Rabbits
- Bears
