Basic Language

Basic is the standard language used in the Far Galaxy (Imperial galaxy). Spoken Basic is nearly identical to Federation Standard English, but its written form of Aurebesh is wildly different and utilizes different characters than Federation Standard English.

Basic Speakers in TFC

• All characters originating from the Far Galaxy are capable of speaking or understanding basic in some fashion, including the Amazons.
  • Perdia Detami and Zannah Lyles-McKie are among the only native speakers of Basic who can read and write in Aurebesh as well as Federation Standard English without the use of a universal translator.
