Ardanium

Ardanium is an exotic mineral that has the unique property of growing extremely strong in the presence of radiation (similar in operation to Polarized Hull Plating used on the Earth starship Phoenix Seven). This property makes it a perfect material for creating fuel canisters for starships, especially capital-scale ships, which require huge amounts of power. This mineral was found in large quantities on the planet Questal, and the Emperor raided the planet in an attempt to expand his fleet of Super-class Star Destroyers. The supply ran out just after mining operations began on the planet, however.

This item, object, or technology originated on the Star Wars side of the Rift.
