Background:

Admiral James Rumsfield has a long Starfleet career. He is among the admirals who objected to the captaincy of Marc Xavier, feeling the part-Betazoid fox was far too young for the challenges that would face him as a captain. Admiral Rumsfield personally ensured the assignment of Romeo Weiss to the USS FELIX so that an experienced officer would be close at hand when Xavier fumbled.

Physical Description:

Admiral Rumsfield is 6' tall and is portly with drooping ears and cheeks. He has a very bushy mustache, and his hair is thinning.

Character Notes:

Starfleet means everything to Admiral Rumsfield; he is obsessive about his career and will do anything necessary to ensure that he remains with Starfleet.
