Sean Andrew Hayes was
born and raised on Earth with his sister Michelle Hayes and two
parents. 7 months after his birth, his father was assigned to Deep
Space 3 and had to leave for 15 years. It wasn’t an easy decision,
but Hayes’ parents decided to keep the children on Earth with Karen
Hayes, while the father, Michael Hayes, was away. His mother was a
highly recognized teacher at Starfleet Academy during that time. It
was especially hard for Sean’s father to leave him at such an early
age. Michael served as a shuttle pilot aboard Deep Space 3 for 10
years of that time. Around this time, there was territorial conflict
about StarFleet’s occupancy near the Klingon and Romulan Empires.
The conflict lasted for 5 years and took the life of Sean's father.
The family received no word
until a year later. Michael
was able to save two starships and DS3 before a Klingon Disruptor
blast crippled his runabout and detonated his engine with a torpedo
shot.
Years later, Sean took to flight training, hand-to-hand combat
training, and engineering during his time at the academy. He wasn’t
the most popular cadet at the academy, but his strength, wit, and
determination pulled him through hard times. He showed great promise
to many of his teacher’s. Hayes graduated Starfleet Academy in 2370.
His first assignment was aboard the USS Cairo as a shuttle pilot and
Asst. Engineer. Out of the blue, he than met Marc Xavier and Cyber
Hare during a routine training exercise. Sean worked along side them
for only a short time before Marc and Cyber were both reassigned.
After his first assignment aboard the Cairo, in 2373 he was
stationed at Deep Space 6 for a few months training on the
Federation’s first experimental fighters. They weren’t much to look
at during the time, but StarFleet couldn’t help but entertain the
idea. His piloting skills proved to be quite impressive. During this
time, he was also receiving extensive hand-to-hand combat training.
In his final evaluations, he proved to be quite a skilled fighter.
Soon after, the Commander of DS6 received word from StarFleet about
the development of a starship that had the potential to enter
transwarp. They were requesting the recommendation of any possible
candidates. Apparently, after Sean’s outstanding performance above
and beyond the call of duty aboard the Cairo and on DS6, he was
recommended by the commander to begin training immediately. Soon
enough, Hayes received word that he was at the top of their list and
was reassigned to this new project.
After he arrived back at Earth, StarFleet put him through some
rigorous training about the new transwarp gates and procedures they
had developed at the time. However, the project was still in its
outline stages. They still had a way to go, but they just pushed him
harder and harder.
So, after years of preparation, the first test flight of the
Frontier was ready. Sean arrived at Space dock above Earth, to
prepare for the Frontier’s launch. In the midst of an eagerly
awaiting crowd, the experiment was underway. In the blink of an eye,
the Frontier entered the Transwarp gate and than disappeared. After
a few minutes of stunned silence, Sean arrived at the second gate
unscratched. The experiment was deemed as a complete success.
After Frontier historic flight, Hayes was assigned to Antares 11
shipyards to oversee the development of the newly designed fighters
and await his next assignment aboard a starship. Soon enough, with
the arrival of the USS Felix, Commander Hayes was assigned as the
first StarForce Wing Commander of the USS Felix. |

| Sean Hayes is a tall Timber Wolf with a grey coat and white underpelt. He stands at about 6' 4", his eyes are brown, he has long black hair that extends a little beyond his shoulders and a black nose. He is skinny, but a little more muscular and he is 24, but looks older than that. |

|
| Hayes is one of those
quiet types who doesn’t say much and spends a lot of time to
himself. He may seem to have a rough exterior, but he’s actually a
sweet person who always seems to think of others over himself. He’s
a person who always tries to cheer people up with some comedic act.
He spends most of his leisure time doing maintenance on the Felix’s
fighters and shuttlecraft (despite Lanna’s objections), spending
hours in the holodecks or the gym, or just spends a little social
time with some of the senior officers. He’s quite strong and is very
skilled with a sword. He is a person that doesn’t like to mince
words; he prefers things straight and to the point. Whenever he
starts anything, he always sees it through to the end. However,
despite his fame and recognition, he never thinks highly of himself
and seems unhappy about something. |
