| Sarah was born on
Earth, and raised, along with her twin sister Sonya, their
half-brother Charles, his half-sister Tara and her twin brother
Scout, and their younger sister Sally, by both their own parents and
Scout & Tara's parents (Derek and Amber Walker, both of Earth; Amber
is also Charles' mother). Their family life was odd, to say the
least. Their father, Rik Felstrom of Betazed, and his wife, an Earth
woman named Sonnette, were well-known... one might almost say
infamous... in the entertainment industry. Rik is a very powerful
Betazoid psionicist (his mental abilities were developed beyond just
telepathy), and despite the dilution of the blood, it held true in
both Sarah and Charles (although interestingly, Sarah's identical
twin Sonya is very weak in that area). Sonya, and Scout all attended
the Academy together; Sonya is still attending Starfleet Medical,
while Scout has graduated and been assigned to the Enterprise-E as
an engineer. Sarah graduated at the top of her class at the Academy,
a member of Nebula Squad. Although counseling was her major, she
proved herself to be quite versatile, and has been assigned to the
USS FELIX as navigator as her first assignment. |

Sarah is the type of person to whom it's easy to open up; one of the
reasons why she studied to be a counselor in the first place. |
